The view out our studio windows on Christmas Day 2010

Here is our booth at Surtex in NYC. We had a good show, made some contacts, met a lot of nice people and enjoyed the whole NY experience.

Surtex is the only show in North America totally dedicated to the sale and licensing of original art. Some 250 exhibiting companies, made up of artists, designers, licensors, and agents, will display thousands of original art and designs to visiting art buyers and licensees. Jan. 2010 John and Carolyn (Studio Dyess) had a trade show booth at the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Trade Show in the License and Design Section

"Facade" ©2009 Carolyn has recently started working with fabric as an art form and created this new piece.
